Packaging requirements
To help speed up the progress of your mortgage applications, there are a few simple guidelines to follow:

- Please submit complete supporting documentation as soon as you receive the Mortgage Reference number from us & include this number on every page.
- If we do not receive your supporting documents within 10 working days of submitting the case online, we will assume you do not wish to proceed & remove the application from our pipeline.
- If you are verifying your customers identification using the form provided here, please ensure the full legal name, date of birth & residential address exactly match that on the application form.
- Specimen customer signatures will be required before completion, so please ensure we have one for all applicants on either the ID declaration or Direct Debit mandate.
- When submitting copy documents, please ensure each page is correctly certified using the words 'true copy of the original' and shows your company name and your full name (in block capitals) together with your signature and date. Documents bearing a photograph should be certified with the words 'true likeness of the applicant'.
- We will keep you informed of the progress of your case by email, so please ensure you let your Business development manager know if your details change.
- Once your application has been assessed, if further information is requested in order to make a full sanction please submit this immediately.
Common Reasons for requesting Further Information
- Bank statements do not show stated mandated salary or all outstanding commitments.
- All current long term commitments must be declared on the mortgage application form & if any are being repaid this should be outlined in the additional info free text box or in supporting documentation.
- Purpose of additional funds for remortgage applications not recorded. Please detail purpose of additional borrowing in free text box or in supporting documents.
- Repayment vehicle not clearly stated. Please note it is not sufficient to tick 'other' without specifying what it is. 'Sale of Property' is only an acceptable repayment vehicle for Buy to Let applications.
- Expected rental income not indicated on application form for Buy to let cases. First Time Buyers need to meet our residential affordability & rental guidelines.
- Copy documents provided are not legible. Please ensure photo copies are done on the lightest setting.
- No source of deposit. Please ensure this is clear in supporting text / documentation.
- No information about income when mortgage term goes past standard retirement age. We will require full details of retirement income & number of household occupants at this time.
